It was organized in January 1998 on the basis of the
National Federation of traditional Karate-do as organization developing
the traditional arts
of fighting of Japan and China: KARATE-DO, KO-BUDO, TAI-JUTSU, KEN-JUTSU,
TAI-JI-QUAN…. "Ronin" means in translation from Japanese "a wandering
Samurai", in middle-aged Japan it was a peculiar cast of Samurais, they
were not the servants of somebody (i. e. They had no masters) and traveled
through the country, so that they could strengthen their spirit and sharpen
their technique in the fights with other Samurais or with bands of robbers.
In translation "Renmei" means "Associations". On the of the Center you
can see hieroglyphs - the first two is "Tisei" and means Reason or Wisdom,
the second one is "Tikara" and mans Power. This two words on the emblem
of our organization point out that a real warrior should Keep these two
conceptions together, but Reason should be always above Power. From the
very beginning of the work of our Center, the president of international
"Budo research Center" is its technical adviser. It is an international
organ which duty is to unite all the admirers of Budo who are worried
about the spiritual future of development of traditional arts of fighting
of China and Japan for which an educational, inner, hidden side of arts
of fighting is more important than superficial and in most cases deceptive
manifestations of them. A permanent President of CRB from the moment of
its organization is Roland
Habersetzer, a great specialist in the sphere of arts of fighting.
Today 10 clubs,
schools and federations of Karate-do all over Russia are the members of
"Ronin Renmei". The main condition of joining to "Ronin Renmei" is the
same as to Budo, it means a complete refusal of all sport competitions.
Under the aegis of the Center the yearly All-Russian and regional seminars
and attestations take place. There were 5 international seminars under
the leadership of Mr. Habersetzer, the President of CRB. A delegation
of instructors of "Ronin Renmei" regularly goes to Strasbourg to participate
in international seminars and yearly conferences of countries-participants
of the CRB, and it represents Russia there. A President of National Center
of development in Budo "Ronin Renmei" is Evgeny Bezrutchko. He was born in 1972.
He started to practise karate-do in 1988. During the period between
1989- 1993 he took an active part in karate-do sport competitions.
In 1990 he won the second place in Regional Championship of Russia (Ural region),
in 1991 - he was the silver prize-winner in the Championship of Russia,
a Champion of Russia in Kata among the juniors, 1992 - a Champion of Russia
in Kata, a Champion in the Open Championship of Europe and Asia in fighting
Karate, silver prize-winner of the Championship of the USSR (the last
championship among the organizations of karate-do in the USSR), 1993 -
a champion of Russia in fighting Karate-do. In April 1991 he became the
possessor of the First Dan during the seminar under the leadership of
Vice-president of the European Federation of traditional Karate-do Dragan
Simitch (it is a subdivision of the International Traditional Karate-do
Federation (ITKF) headed by Sensei Nishiyama). In 1992, 1994 and 2000
he got the second, the third and the fourth Dans already from the hands
of Habersetzer.
"Ronin Renmei" is the first and the only
one organization in Russia in Karate-do of non-sporting character and
in reality (in contrast to other federation which call themselves also
traditional) it propagandizes and develops the Eastern single combat in
the same way as old masters, it
means as Art, not as Sport (if you want to know more about our point of
new you should abbeal to publications in the Russia language magazine
"Ronin" which is published in Russia since September 1999, or you may
visit one of our seminars).
The basic style of the "Ronin Renmei" is
Shotokan, but as far as students raise their skill they can include into
their programmers of studying the methods, techniques and Kata from Goju-ryu,
Wado-ryu, Shito-ryu, styles and from ancient schools of Okinawa. Besides,
in the CRB the possessors of Black Belts in Karate-do get a possibility
to study Ko-Budo, Tai-jutsu, Ken-jutsu and Tai-ji-quan under the leadership
of qualified instructors. In conclusion we want to add that to become
a member of CRB is very difficult: every day the CRB gets dozens of applications
asking for joining, but, as Habersetzer says, "among a thousand of applicants
only one has a chance".
